The provincial government is still committed to a public inquiry into Project Truth. That's according to MPP Jim Brownell who spoke in the legislature today in response to Conservative John Baird's remarks about an inquiry. Baird tabled a private member's bill yesterday demanding action. Brownell says the issue has not been forgotten. He says the Liberal government has demonstrated more fortitude than any other party on this issue. The hold up, according to the attorney general's office is finding the right person to head the inquiry.
